I was stopped by this police officer today under section 43 of the Terrorism Act 2000 for taking photographs at the Waverley Station in Edinburgh. What is the world coming to? But to be honest, I don't mind. The bobby was very polite and asked me "if I would mind telling him what I was doing". I explained that I new about this new law already from photographer friends in London who get this all the time. I also explained that he had the right to view my photographs on the camera (which he didn't know he could do) but he politely declined and let me alone happy with my explanation. I really don't mind. I'd rather live in a safe society.
